The Orlando Division, established in 1983, recycles many grades of fiber including old newspapers, sorted and shredded office paper, magazines, cardboard, and mixed paper. The Division also recycles Pet and HDPE plastic, plastic shrink wrap and film. SP Orlando pays over 2-million dollars to the numerous community groups it serves in Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake,Volusia and Flagler Counties in exchange for their old newspapers.

The Polk Division opened its doors to serve the communities of Polk, Highlands, Hardee, and Hillsborough Counties in 1979. Employing up to 33 people working 3 shifts, the facility processes old newspapers and other recyclables. The Division placed works with the Highlands County School System saving the school system thousands of dollars annually in reduced garbage service fees.
The Hernando Division celebrated its Grand Opening in September 2010, serving Hernando, Pasco, Citrus, and Sumter Counties. The new operation continues SP Recycling Corporation’s commitment to providing excellent customer service and perpetuating community awareness of the importance of recycling.

The Gainesville Division opened in October 1994 and currently leases facilities from Alachua County were employees process all the curbside material from Alachua County, the City of Gainesville, High Springs, Newberry, the City of Alachua, and Bradford, Columbia, Suwannee, Gilchrist and Union Counties. The Gainesville Division processes old newspaper, cardboard, sorted office paper, plastic, aluminum and tin cans. The Jacksonville Division began serving NE Florida and SE Georgia in 1988, and in 2007 enabled newspaper fundraising to over $20,000 for Non Profit Organizations.

The Brevard Division opened in 1989 and in 1992 began processing curbside recyclables for the south portion of the county. The Division processes old newspapers and cardboard, and is an active member and supporter of Keep Brevard Beautiful.

The Fort Pierce Division opened in 1987. The Division processes curbside material from the cities of Port St. Lucie and Ft. Pierce. The facility also supports the Palm Beach Division which services all of South Florida. SPRC Palm Beach Division began operating in May 2001, providing front end loader service for collection of paper only with rebates provided depending on type of service and tons collected.
As are many of SP Recycling’s Divisions, the Palm Beach Division is a Green Lodging Partner with the State of Florida, and is also a member of the hotel associations in Palm Beach and Miami-Dade. The Division’s partnership with Palm Beach Post and Solid Waste Authority for the schools in Palm Beach County, has lead to a mandate for full recycling in all district schools and facilities.

The Fort Myers Division was established in September 1988, and in 1994 moved to its present location. The Division recovers and processes old newspaper, cardboard, and sorted office paper. Fort Myers Division actively supports the Keep Charlotte County Beautiful, Keep Lee County Beautiful, and Keep Collier County Beautiful organizations with board membership. The Division maintains a high profile, sponsoring calendar ads for each county and co-sponsoring county benefit golf tournaments, the proceeds of which are used for beach clean ups, educational materials, and children's "green" activities.

The Pinellas Division opened its doors as a transfer station for old newspaper with one front-end loader truck. The Division has grown to include processing of multiple grades of fiber, and currently is negotiating on a larger 40,000 sq. ft. facility in the center of Pinellas County for availability in 2009. SP provides over 200 schools in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties with the opportunity to recycle paper and each semester provides over $2,000 in contest prizes to the schools.
The Pinellas Division is a primary recycler for Auto Trader and is an exclusive recycling partner with Valpak with produces over 10,000 tons of paper for recycling annually. The Division also supports the Louise Graham Foundation for “special needs” adults. The Foundation recycles over 50 tons of paper per month which gives the citizens a sense of pride and accomplishment. The revenue generated by the paper recycling goes along way in helping the Foundation achieve its budget.
